That Explains It!

Last week as Jason and I were walking home from dinner, we ran into some of the girls from church. One of the girls gave me a hug and said, “April smells good.” So, Jason leaned over to see what I smelled like. This resulted in a loud “EEEEEEEEEEEEE!” from the girls (you know that sound girls make when something is too romantic?). We were a little taken aback.

Moo Ga Ta

When we go out to eat for a special event with our Thai friends, more often than not the choice of food is “Moo Ga Ta.”
Moo Ga Ta literally means “pork in a pan,” although you cook a lot more than just pork (and sometimes no pork!). Many of our friends commonly refer to it as “Korean Barbecue,” and though it may have been inspired by Korean cooking, it is not quite what you’d see in Korea.

Singapore Architecture
