It’s hard to believe that we’ve already been in Bangkok for a week! Obviously a lot has been happening and we’ve had all kinds of new experiences we want to share with you. We live on a street called Soi 30. Soi is a word for a small side street. There is not a lot of traffic on a soi. Which is good, because there is no sidewalk. You also can’t get many places driving down a soi. You have to go to the end of the soi where it connects to a main road. The Sois run parallel to each other, so the next soi over would be Soi 29, then 28, etc…

Sunday was an incredible day for us. Surrounded by loving and supportive friends and family we were officially commissioned from Life Bridge Church. It was an emotional event. We felt so loved and humbled by all the nice words spoken about us, and all the support shown by everyone there. It is so hard to believe that we are finally going!
